Children of rural families in Peru face a unique challenge going to school. The government pays for schools and teachers but not for books and pencils. Without adequate school supplies, children can't get the most out of their education.

It takes a plot of land 10 feet square (10 sq. m) and 6 months to grow enough potatoes to buy one notebook or two pens. Cash from the sale of produce at market is prioritized for essentials like cooking oil or fuel. There's often no money left to buy school supplies.

Access to education provides new possibilities for the future and many ways to enrich a child's life. Our solution is simple: we give children the school supplies they need to get the education they deserve.

We deliver hope and opportunity in every satchel full of school supplies, to children in the Cusco and Sacred Valley areas of Peru.

By working together, and by supporting our Festivals, our Gala’s, our Community Events; by donating personally, by donating your reciprocity for Rites in the classes to Kimmapii Kids,  by supporting our Marketplace, and many more initiatives - this community of ours has delivered over 15,000 shoe boxes or satchels to underprivileged kids in Peru - that means more than 30,000 children have been able to attend school because of your efforts.

2017 is the 10th Anniversary year for Kimmapii Kids and it is the final year, take a moment and check out our ANNOUNCEMENT
